    Services at Round Rock

Finding us on Louis Henna Blvd

We sit on Louis Henna Blvd just off I-35, which puts us within a short drive of most of southern Williamson County. Coming down from Georgetown or Hutto, I-35 and Hwy 79 both feed straight in. From Pflugerville, you can take I-35 north or cut across on Toll 130. From Cedar Park and Brushy Creek, 1431 and Parmer are the quicker routes in rather than going all the way around. There is parking on site, and the service counter is inside the main entrance — you do not need an appointment to get a look at something, though calling ahead means we can have a bay ready for you.

    Emissions testing and registration renewal

Round Rock registrations fall under Williamson County, which is one of the Texas counties that still requires an annual emissions test before you can renew. We test on-site, so this is one stop rather than two — the result goes to the state electronically and attaches to your registration record. Most gas vehicles roughly two to twenty-four model years old need it; brand-new vehicles, vehicles twenty-five years and older, diesels and EVs are exempt. One thing worth knowing before you drive over: an active check engine light is an automatic fail under the state's OBD rules. If yours is on, let us diagnose it first so you are not making the trip twice.

Tires are what this shop does most

More people call this location about tires than anything else. We repair punctures that are genuinely repairable — in the tread, within limits, patched properly from the inside rather than plugged from the outside — and we say so when a tire is past saving instead of selling you four. We mount and balance new tires on site and will match the tire to how you actually drive rather than to what is stacked highest. If your TPMS light keeps coming back on after a top-up, that is usually a slow leak worth finding rather than living with.

    What we work on

All makes and models, domestic and import, including European. Brakes, oil and fluid services, batteries and charging systems, air conditioning, engine diagnostics, transmission work, exhaust, suspension and steering, scheduled maintenance, and pre-purchase inspections. Every repair carries a written estimate before the work starts — you approve the number before we touch anything — and a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty on parts and labor. If we find something else while the vehicle is on the lift, you get told and you decide; nothing gets added because it was convenient.

    Who we see here

This shop draws from Round Rock itself plus Pflugerville, Hutto, Georgetown, Brushy Creek, Cedar Park and Leander. A lot of that is highway commuting — I-35, TX-45 and TX-130 — and highway miles change what wears out first. High-speed miles are hard on tires and suspension in a way that stop-and-go city driving is not, and the expansion joints and pothole damage around the I-35 and TX-45 interchange are a common reason a car that drove fine last month now pulls or vibrates at speed.

    Round Rock — common questions

Do you do emissions testing in Round Rock?
Yes, on site. Williamson County still requires an annual emissions test before you can renew your registration, and we test here so it is one stop instead of two. The result is transmitted to the state electronically.
    Do I need an appointment?
No, but calling ahead helps us have a bay ready. Same-day service is often available, particularly for tires, oil services and emissions tests.
Do you work on European cars?
Yes. We service all makes and models, domestic and import, including European vehicles.
Will my check engine light fail the emissions test?
Yes — an active check engine light is an automatic fail under the state's OBD rules, with no exceptions. Bring it in and we will diagnose the underlying fault first so you are not making a second trip.
Can you repair my tire or do I need a new one?
It depends where the damage is. Punctures in the tread and within repairable limits can be patched properly from the inside. Sidewall damage cannot be repaired safely. We will show you which one you have.
    What are your hours?
Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm. We are closed Saturdays and Sundays.
Is there a warranty on the work?
Yes — 12 months or 12,000 miles on parts and labor, and you get a written estimate before any work begins.
